Nusa Penida island, just 25km away from Bali, has become pretty popular due to posts on Instagram. We were worried that it might be overrated, but the beaches here are truly remarkable and worth the hype. White sand beach, crystal-clear turquoise water and dramatic cliffs, it’s a postcard perfect scene. Our patience was tested going down the narrow stairs, as many people decided it’s a great time to have a photoshoot forgetting about the line of people behind them. We recommend coming early in the morning so you don’t get stuck on the stairs. The last part of the stairs can be a bit tricky but it’s all worth it once you get down.
