Epic VERSAILLES Day Trip! | Paris Travel Guide

Versailles is THE Royal Palace. It’s a train ride away from Paris and one of the most popular day trips from the city. Today we make the journey to Versailles and explore this vast palace full of the most ornate and extravagant rooms you’ll ever see, and a vast garden complete with an equally vast canal that makes New York’s Central Park look like a small patch of grass.

This palace was constructed under King Louis XIV and played a pivotal role in French history being the symbol of the French Aristocracy and it’s an absolute must-do day trip from Paris.
