We reviewed our experience flying the newest Air France Business Class. The 777-200ER got its Zodiac seats in 2018 and the 1-2-1 layout make it the best business class experience via European airlines. The cabin crew service was good, in special in the second flight, between Vancouver and Papeete. The service is similar as before pandemic, but with limited options on food and drinks.
Air France fly directly to Papeete with a stopover in Vancouver. Before the pandemic, they use to run this flight via Los Angeles LAX and it was a very cumbersome experience – all guests needs to clear US immigration and get back into airport, a painful 2-3h experience. Now, guests can wait in Vancouver airport, next to the arrival gate.
We started the review from the beautiful Paris CDG Airport, with a quick tour of AirFrance flagship lounge in terminal 2, gates K. Don’t miss the amazing welcome in Papeete/Tahiti airport and our further hotels reviews from this Paradise.
Founded in 1933 and operating more than 50m passengers per year, Air France is one of the biggest airlines in Europe. They fly directly to 93 countries and has a fleet of 214 aircrafts.

One of my favorite business class is this new one from AF. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve flown AirFrance in Business on the same route as you, just via LAX. The experience was just great. Great Crew, great seat, great catering. I preordered an own meal though and every single wish was fulfilled. The trip to Tahiti and a few days later Bora Bora was just amazing. The Hotels I stayed in were great. I’ll be there in June again, really looking forward to it ✈️😃☀️
I’m flying this business class from LAX to CDG 2 weeks from today. It does look nice – particularly the footwell that can actually accommodate feet! I find Lufthansa’s A350 business class horrible. Very tight 6 across seating on a narrower aircraft and a postage-sized footwell. Not good at all.
Nice pictures, but the music is really annoying
The saddest flight in the world is the flight leaving Tahiti. I did it twice and I really didn't like it lol.
why seems catering of AF business class so much better then with KLM? Avoid KLM!
Fantastic vlog. Looks like you had a great trip. The food looks Awesome!
Love the music you're using, made me watch till the end!
