The ride will begin from Kolkata’s Millennium Park jetty; move north towards Ahiritola along the Eastern bank of the Hoogly and then take a U-turn and move along the Western bank before returning to the start point.
The ride will cover some historical landmarks such as the Eastern Railways Headquarters, Vidyasagar Setu, Eden Gardens and many such heritage buildings during the journey with traditional Bengali music to soak in the ambience. The cruise will also have a cafe onboard serving light snacks and tea for onboard purchase. And to make the ride memorable, there will be complimentary selfie booths onboard to capture the journey. The Heritage Cruise will operate from 6:00 pm , Monday to Friday and on weekends there will be two trips, 5:00 pm and 6:45 pm.
