How does driving a go-kart around Tokyo in a onesie sound? Let me tell you…It’s AMAZING!
In this video, my friend Erin and I dress up as Nemo and Dory from Finding Nemo to experience the Official Street Go-Kart Tour (link below)! You can’t get much more “Japan” than driving go-karts in onesies on the streets of Tokyo.This is one of the best moments I’ve ever had on my travels! It’s especially great for first timers because the tour takes you to a lot of the famous landmarks. You have to do this when you go to Tokyo!
Now for the all the fun details…The tour company is great and is called the “Official Street Go-Kart Tour – Shinagawa Shop”. We booked our tickets on viator.com (link below). Make sure to book your tickets in advance because spots fill up fast. Tickets cost $100 USD per person. I KNOW. It’s not a deal. Normally, I’m all about the deals and traveling on a budget, but trust me it’s worth every penny. It’s also a 2-3 hour long tour (no stops) and you have a tour guide who helps lead the way. This is an incredible and must-do experience in Tokyo.
