It was the day after my first night out in the Khao San Road area of Bangkok and I was feeling a little delicate. It was an inevitable late start but I did find the energy to head out to see some of Bangkok’s temples.

After taking the ferry across the river to the Wang Lang Market, I walked to the Wat Arun temple, passing two others along the way.

I then headed to Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan, which is famous for its huge reclining Buddha.

I finished the day with some great food at Karim Roti Mataba.

Join me as I cure my hangover with some temple-hopping!
