  1. Very cool about some of those apps! I had some already but didn’t know about some of the features that are super helpful. I already had IOS Translate but never knew about some of those features. I have used WhatsApp for more than 10 years ever since one of our kids went to China to live for a few years, and then one of our other kids went to Africa to live for more than a year. Very useful app.

  2. Almost dkdnt watch your complete video as I thought it was just about Apple. I love all my Goigle/Android options. Makes travel so much easier.

  3. Great video. I really appreciate the detail in your videos…including sharing the places you've stayed, restaurants, transportation used, etc. and associated monies spent. These elements are so helpful for travelers planning a trip to a new country and they're missing in so many YouTube posts. Again, this video hits the mark again in sharing how to communicate. I'm off to Egypt in November and all of your videos are so helpful. So far your channel is my go to pick. Thanks.

  4. Missed all of these modern tools. Did things the old way, studying languages for years before traveling to the country. I would use this if on my way to Thailand, for example, since I want to see the country, but don't intend to learn that language.
