Fellow aussie here. I'm sold ! I'm going (actually, I booked my plane ticket for next Feb a few months ago! woo hooo.) (Ps, You called Carinderia Candida – a fungal disease . LOL)
Thank you…..
First time I ever heard anyone says we are a foodie paradise. LOL , I have to admit thought we are very different in terms of choices in cuisines and the ingredients we use from region to region can vary alot and yet there are commonalities between them. Yes, we are not very chili happy country and not so much curry either. I would describe it as a fusion between native inspired, Chinese and some Spaniard splash in there.
So amazing❤🎉

Thank you for the positive feedback about our country. Come visit North of Luzon like my birth place Baguio City and other places like Vigan, Laoag, Hundred Islands etc. 😊
One thing I would like Australia to have is having heaps of holiday. Growing up in the Philippines, I’m so used to having a holiday/special day like almost every month hahahaha

Be mindful of places you are going, not all places in the Philippines are safe. Don't let your children walk alone on the street. Be safe guys.

Only thing I'd disagree with is the food…. my wife, who's from cebu, agrees that filipino food is not the greatest. She eats it all the time though. She likes Vietnamese a he'll of a lot. Great great people though

Hi! My first time to comment on your channel i think. Anyway, glad you've fallen in love with PH like so many other foreigners. Some have actually even chosen to live here. And wow, you even loved our food. Coz Filipino food seems to be the least liked among Asian cuisines. I even heard one Aussie vlogger based in Thailand say that our food is "lacking". I think though that it's not the food itself that's the problem but the availability of good Filipino food. Like not all places have Carinderias, or good ones. And also, if you're more into vegetables, or don't eat pork because of religious beliefs, or love spicy food, then PH food isn't for you.
Also, you mentioned that it's hard for you to pinpoint what it is you love about PH. I think you gave the answer here too, and that is when you said you "felt at home" here. Coz maybe people treat you like family, or that they know you.
And yes, the English-proficiency here is definitely higher that in other Asian countries as we are actually the 4th or 5th largest English-speaking country in the world. And English is also an official language here. It's taught in schools.
Btw, in case you didn't know, PH won World's Leading Beach and Dive Destination in 2022 at the World Travel Awards. So if you love the ocean and marine life, PH is the best place to be. 🙂
New subs here it's more fun in the philippines.
Thank you!😍😍😍
True absolutely 💯 pilipino people are very friendly people know matters what's the have.
Do not go there for the food

Man. Now i miss home 😂 every corner there is some kind of festivity. No dull moments. Only dull moments are when time stops while watching sunsets *not really dull more like majestic 😂❤
