Our adventure began with a morning that dreams are made of – waking up to an elephant right outside our cabin! 🌄🐘 We couldn’t believe our eyes as we ate breakfast and watched an incredible creature roam freely in their natural habitat.

But the real highlight of our trip was getting up close and personal with these gentle giants. We had the incredible opportunity to bathe with the elephants in a river, an experience that left us in awe of their grace and beauty. Splashing around with these majestic beings was a memory we’ll cherish forever!🛁🐘 Feeding time was another magical moment. We got to feed the elephants, bonding with them over baskets of food.

What makes Chai Lai Orchid even more special is their dedication to providing employment, safety, and a loving family to indigenous women who have come from abusive situations. The women working here are from indigenous tribes, and the sanctuary provides them with an opportunity for a fresh start and a safe haven🌟🙌

Throughout our stay, we learned about the incredible conservation efforts Chai Lai Orchid is committed to, not only for elephants but also for these remarkable women. Their dedication to providing a safe and loving environment for both elephants and their human caretakers is truly heartwarming.
