It’s the final End of the Line … probably. As we head out to Zone 3 on the District Line and go ane make a fuss of Wimbledon. That’s where they play all the tennis, right? And ( most importantly ) does it have … A CAR PARK !?

  1. As a South African I hereby wholeheartedly apologise for the egregious and unprovoked usage of Comic Sans. If you ever come down to this part of the world I will stand you to a lunch at Wimpy – we are absolutely dripping with them here. Also those Northern Line station names were amazing.

  2. 0:21 NOT SWT !
I'm not being arsey because the old SWT rather than the new SWR site infects your devices with naked ladies.
And that's my mum telling me that.

    SO BEWARE!!

  3. Hi Geoff. I really enjoyed your EOTL series as I'd been to just about all of them myself. Just a suggestion, but why don't you cover some of the terminus stations on the National rail branch lines? There are four in reasonable proximity to where I live on the Hertfordshire/Essex/Nth London borders, these being Braintree, Hertford East, Chingford & Enfield Town, plus and there are other places I've had cause to travel to like Seaford on the South Coast, Uckfield, Newquay etc. Sorry if you have already covered any of them or even all of them, but I haven't seen all of your content (yet). Keep up the good work mate, I like what you do even if you are a Spud 😉
    COYI!!!!

  4. Oh this was crazy considering I used to live here 4 years ago and crossed over that footbridge every night coming home from work. I also grew up in the Wimbledon area for 20+ years so I'm very familiar with the South Wimbledon frustration.

    Thanks for the video Geoff!

  5. By the way. The car park featured at the end, 6.16 – 6.32 mins is not Wimbledon but in Godalming in Surrey, known as the Mint Street car park. Godalming is on the Waterloo to Portsmouth main line.

  6. Comic sans finds even more absurd application, for the name of distinguished Victorian gentleman Sir Julian Huxley on a glossy pub frontage in Selsdon 😂

  7. I have a feeling that this won't be the last end of the line episode, if the bakerloo line extension has anything to do with it.
