    How Much I Spend In A Day In Toronto, Canada | West Side City Tour



    Toronto is one of Canada’s most expensive cities, but even I was surprised with just how much prices have gone up in the last couple of years. If you want to live downtown Toronto, you should expect to pay at least $2500 CAD for a one bedroom apartment on a long term lease and $3500+ if it is short term. Even just a room (like in my case) is going to be almost $2,000/month if you want a well rated airbnb in a good area. But nevertheless, it is a great city with a lot to offer, so come join me on a tour of the west side of the city exploring neighborhoods like Bloor West Village, Parkdale, Queen West and also Lake Ontario!

      In my country men`s haircut costs 0.90 CAD !!! Man I love my country yet everyone here wants to move to US and Canada where things are ridiculously expensive.

      The real estate is so pricey in Canada, unthinkable. Such a vast land with very little population, but still many home less people. But this video is good.

      Ilike all your posts, but I enjoy a lot more the recent ones ! Nothing like the present moment,,, besides I lived in Toronto many years ago near cabbage town and also in the east at Pape and Danfort, I really enjoy Toronto , I have some wonderful souvenirs from this town .

      So one conclusion: the rent is absurd! 1760 per month is a lot of money compared to most average salaries I think and other living costs. I myself have my own house in the Netherlands, paying 519 Euro mortgage per month, 1,3% interest wich is very low. But housing costs are insane for a couple of years now, as we have no space in the cities anymore and people are continue to coming. I bought 10 years ago, was very lucky but today I am not able to buy my own house again with the current conditions. Great vid, love your relaxed way of filming and presenting.

      My daughter goes to University of Toronto. She hates it. Toronto is overpriced with crazy traffic. It isn’t a good choice as a city to live in unless you have to work there. Quebec City is a great choice, London, or Montreal if you want the big city vibes without paying Toronto prices.

      The city looks like a run-down province. In Russia, this is what a depressed city looks like far from the region. Even Turkish Alanya, where I am now, looks like a mega-capital compared to this and the price of apartments, food and coffee will be 2-3 times lower. But at the same time it is a resort!

      i live in downtown Toronto from 1982 to 2003. Toronto is a shit hole now. diversity has destroyed that city especially the high amount of certain culture that is changing Toronto to their liking.

      Canada in general is not a good country for immigrants, Toronto is the worst city you can choose as a city to stay in. I left Canada for good, some years ago, and I feel that this was the right decision.
      From a Canadian citizen, stay away of Canada.

      Toronto is an ugly city and watch out taking the TTC with all the shootings. The quality of service is bad…despite the many restaurants with different ethnic food…it doesn't really matter when the service and quality is below average. What is ironic is that despite it being such a big metropolis…most ppl dress behind the times or dress like slobs. Overall, most ppl are rude and the cost of rent is high…many apts look like some disco from the 1970s for what you get. It is ok to visit but not a good place to live.
