We were quite pleased with the complimentary breakfast at Nam Kat Yorla Pa Resort in Oudomxay Province. This resort in northern Laos is the perfect escape if you truly want to get away from it all. Lush, green… no wonder ecotourism is big in Laos. Welcome to the jungle, baby!
Besides Lao food, Nam Kat Yorla Resort also offers pho and other noodle soup dishes as well as a western breakfast (which I ate on a different morning – we stayed for several days). For activities at Nam Kat Yorla Pa, ATV was our favorite (see my other video on this) as it included a trek through the jungle to a beautiful waterfall. If you’re an adrenaline jungle, there’s some options for you as well.
After a nice lunch, we enjoyed walking through the many suspension bridges at the resort. These ones weren’t as scary as the ones that came with the ATV package in that I showed in a previous vlog, thank goodness LOL.
Exploring Nam Kat Yorla Pa was a blast and I plan on traveling to northern Laos again soon. Hope to see you in Oudomxay Province!
