    End of summer in the French countryside



    Bonjour everyone!
    The signs that the end of the summer is near and fall is coming are everywhere. But the weather is still wonderful, sunny and warm so we’re making sure the transition to fall is slow and gentle.

      Thank you again for another beautiful,peaceful video. I have the same feeling here in NY ,though it’s been quite hot and I love to work in my garden, kayak ,hike and ride my bike but the heat has kept me from doing these things. I am overjoyed when I see you have put a new video on your channel. It’s nice to see these beautiful places . The chateau you visited was lovely, the carved doors were just gorgeous. The gardens were so pretty and to see that flowers that are growing so far away in the French countryside are also flowers I have here. I try to take areas of my garden and make them a little space of somewhere I’d like to visit. Yes the fall is coming and I get a bit melancholy thinking about the summer leaving , it did go too fast. But fall is beautiful too. It’s nice to be still and just take in all nature has to offer. I am so excited about your cook book .

      Another beautiful video Marloes. We’re having gorgeous weather here in the U.K. .. finally! I was feeling we hadn’t had a summer at all. So now having just got back from our sunny holiday by the coast I am happy at the thought of Autumn coming. I too have a grape vine, just ornamental but I love watching as the grapes start to darken as they ripen. I so enjoy your channel. Thank you ❤

      Here in Belgium we had a few days of scorching heat, I think today will be the last one. Fall is my favourite season of the year as well! I make confiture from grapes all the time! If they're not sweet- usually I'll use 700 grams of sugar for 1 kg of fruit, add a squeeze of a whole lemon and one apple, sliced with the core (I'll take it out later). I'm cooking it for at least an hour after it boils, and mix every few minutes. Love it!

      Hi from Washington State, USA. I really enjoy watching your videos and the quiet life you and your family have created in France. You have a beautiful home and the countryside is breathtaking. My daughter and I were in Paris several years ago, so it's nice to see other parts of France. Thanks for sharing!

And i really like you keep your family fairly private in your filming – keep enjoying EVERYTHING….oh one little question, if you read these and have time to reply – I have noticed you use some american terms in your video's, like this video – THE FALL – i just wondered why if you are from the Netherlands…..thank you for all the video's.

      Très belle video. Ça donne envie de visiter ta région.
      Je ressens la même chose à chaque fois que l’été se termine. Cette impression de ne pas avoir profité assez. Comme si j’avais perdu tout ce temps. Mais l’automne est aussi une très belle saison, que j’apprécie que depuis peu.

      Now YouTube found something very new to select on fewers: I see, when I want to look at your vlogs:'Following content aren't available in this app'-'Looking at vlogs in the newest YouTube version's- when trying to look at this version, I see 'version not available'.
      I don't know, what this is for, but it means, I am not able looking at your content in the future. I tried it with ending my abos for your channel…Maybe this is some kind of social scoring? Maybe this happens to more viewers right now? I don't know, if it will be possible for me reading the answers. So I say goodbye, sorry.
