It’s the start of the Slaw’s late summer holiday and it very nearly doesn’t start!
They are travelling in their Hobby motorhome Helga @HobbyCaravan with their two Lhasa Apso dogs, Billy and Jessie.

We are just on our way back from Port Grimaud again (Holiday Marina Resort) it was a consistent 29c 30c but stopped in Trevoux Kanopee Village on our first leg home on the River Soane i thought it would be cooler further up north but no way it was 35c very intense heat but nice being by the river. Looking forward to seeing where you end up. Thanks again for posting.

We have used the pet lounge a few times. It's not a problem with Reggie getting up as we are generally the first few on the boat and the lift is available. Getting back though…😮😮😮 The lift is packed with the lazy, and the stairs are a nightmare!!! Back to UK on Friday… On y va!
Good to see you and the dogs back on the road. I am a fan of going “naked” and making my own way depending on how I feel. What is the weather app that you use to look at the weather in possible places you want to visit?

We are currently in Germany day 5 into our 14 day European trip (Black Forest tomorrow). We will be passing that way in France on the way home, so will use that campsite. Fantastic! Cheers
I prefer going over Dartford Crossing for Free after 2200 or before 0600. Less traffic at night on motorways and in ports. My plan is no plan until 2 hours before sunset then look for couple of night parkup's.
We are only 40 minutes from the ‘Ull’ terminal. Don’t think we will ever do Dover again as it’s so easy on the ferry to Rotterdam. Less chance of traffic jams or French strikes too 🙂
We didn’t plan our journey out and back. We found some gems too and NO kids 🙂
oh my ….. I watched this yesterday and last night I dreamt we were going from Dover to France, something we used to do some decades ago, and we were supposed to get a train, probably the Chunnel, but there was no train and were told to get on a ferry, but we didn't know where to go and we weren't even in a car and my husband was not trying to find out what to do, so I was asking around and got directions. My dreams are all weird and blurry, it didn't make it to the end of the story. Well we'll find out how your holiday went soon… enjoy….

Can't wait to see what you get up to in Annecy, we went in June and absolutely loved it! Also we now use Turkey mince instead of beef in our Chilli! 😍
