Of the many choices for travel between England and Scotland, the Caledonian Sleeper is a very popular choice to train cross country in the UK. Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience on the train. In this video, we try the same route in the standard seat AND the most luxury room, the double en suite. The Caledonian sleeper was a big let down on the seat side, and somewhat on the first class side but you tell us in the comments if you would book this ride.

I didn’t even know this existed and I’m British. I’ve seen trains go up the country from London / Birmingham to Scotland but not this overnight one. I’d be tempted to try it if the price was right. New subscriber – love your style and can’t wait for more honest videos.

if you ever come back to south africa, i'd reccomend the ravos rail from cape town to johannesburg or the other way around, its well worth it, food is amazing, amazing customer service
