Firstly, im glad Fergus is working great! Glad the repellent worked! i hate mosquitos! For the overheat, cant recall if you ever replaced the radiator? and/or adding a small 12v fan in the engine bay to push air in? Thanks for the heads up about France! planning to do the Camino in the future, need to factor that into my budget. Take Care!

Ouch! France is indeed expensive, just like Ireland. ๐๐๐ We are off there next month, so weโll have to try to keep the wallet happy. By the way, in Spain a few months ago we got diesel at โฌ1.23. How insane was that.
As usual another great video. Spain is hard to beat. Not expensive and you can have beaches or mountains. Think you need to watch yourself Shane as Ane getting bit comfortable with that ๐จ. Any more of your lip ya might get a beating ๐๐
Spent 2 months in France, went from Ireland so fuel prices weren't such a big shock. Food on the other hand…. diet consisted of smoked chicken, baguettes and wine ๐ I still have a picture of 20 euro free range chicken in the shop… I believe it's expensive due to there being little to no imports and everything is essentially local produce.

Well that was interesting. We lived in France, Carcassonne for 11 years and agree it has got very expensive. It is a beautiful country though and worth it if you can afford it but not good if youโre on a budget. Shame.
When we lived in Carcassonne we used to visit the Costa Brava regularly and indeed have just got back from a holiday in Llafranc which is gorgeous. I hope you visit there so you can tell me how to pronounce it correctly, although I donโt know if you speak Catalan or if the pronunciation is different.

It just looks so great – food, view, friendship, VW T25 not breaking down ๐ How do you guys afford to finance your trip? Do you have jobs to go back to or just have some cash to sustain you for a while etc? I do wonder if I could do a similar thing for a few years, but wonder about the costs me and my partner would incur in our van etc. LOVE the videos – you two are great ๐

We found France more expensive than Ireland ( August 2023) but diesel here is up to French prices now. Saw โฌ1.91 litre yesterday in Meath. In Normandy in any town a 500ml beer is โฌ8!
Do the little Red Bus have a YouTube as I can't find it. With my T25 in and emergency I put the heater on full to get rid of some heat also I sometimes put the heater on for a minute before turning him off just to get rid of a bit of beat.
