So Six Flags New England used to be infamous for putting in a Giant Inverted Boomerang (Goliath) right next to a regular Boomerang (Flashback). Goliath was by all accounts ruined by the Premier trains Six Flags put on it, and it's already gone; Flashback is still there. And everyone's been speculating for years about what is going in to replace Goliath. Often they imagine taking out Flashback as well to make a long, skinny plot.
The more I think about that long, skinny plot, the more I think the perfect ride for it would be… a Vekoma Super Boomerang! And they're putting in one of those already at Great Adventure, so there's precedent.
Great video! Some missing things: Vekoma started as a farming company, in the Netherlands. In the 70s, they acquired some of Arrows assets, and worked together with them on Vekoma's first coasters. Vekoma didn't make their own trains until the end of the 80s- begin 90s.
Down here in Tennessee we're also looking forward to the twin family Boomerangs coming to the Nashville Zoo. And Holiday World and Kings Island are not too far of a drive from here so this region is going to suddenly become the Vekoma family coaster Capitol, perhaps even over Orlando.
Plus the Nashville Zoo is adding some great additions in terms of exhibits. I'd love to see them move more into the hybrid zoo/amusement park model. Maybe we get our own Wildfire?
I've said it for since 2017. The vekoma comeback is coming. They're not B&M or intimin levels of rides just yet because their peak, elite rides are way better than Vekoma. But all of vekomas rides go hard and are so promising. I can absolutely see Vekoma be the new RMC in this country
Their comeback is strategic I think. I think Vekoma denied work in America and began building themselves up and making them a top tier manufacturer again. And when they felt ready with all this experience and new models, come back to America and do a Vekoma sweep just like in the 80s and 90s. What other reason would they avoid America like the plague until now? People have been asking for a Vekoma coaster for YEARS now
Circuit Breaker will never be built . I live by COTA . Absolutely zero going on over there . Nothing. They’ve had the lifthill for the eurofighter just laying in the parking lot for the last 2 years lol.

This enthusiast has one SLC cred I rode once! That's it, never again. Once is enough and I get the idea. 🥴😂
Its always a good day when cedar flags posts a new video
KI is getting one of Vekoma's standard models, but Holiday World's is custom
Cedar is now working with Vekoma, six flags started last year
A pretty bumpy road

I'm dying for more Tilt Coasters here in America and hope Circuit Breaker won't be the only one
At some point someone is going to do a Lech Coaster or a Fonix in the US, right?

The KI family boomerang is not a custom layout, but Good Gravy is!
As an American (ohioan) that adores Vekoma, this is a dream come true
maybe kings island could build a new vakoma flying coaster on vortex plot of land maybe the name could be the revenge of vortex
I'm most excited for Circuit Breaker. It looks like a way more thrilling version of a B&M dive coaster

Snoopy isn’t a custom layout… energylandia has it to
