HEY GUYS! THIS VIDEO IS LONG OVERDUE! After nearly a half-decade, I have decided to come back to India and give it another chance (because on my last trip, I had an awful time…) I was in a fatal bus crash at 2 in the morning where two people died, and on top of that, I got severe food poisoning which led me to lose over 12 pounds.
So I came back as my new 32-year-old self to give it another chance and see if I would like it. I’ll be spending 11 days in the country, attempting to shoot 4 videos for my main YouTube channel, and we are kicking it off right here with my first 24 hours in Kolkata (one of the craziest cities on earth!)

This video makes it quite clear that individuals often present things solely from their own viewpoint. I don't understand why people still want to portray India as a land of slums, overlooking its highly developed regions. I mean, c'mon it's like visiting a place to exclusively showcase its slums and crowded places. Kolkata in particular, is renowned for its rich heritage, culture, art, literature, music, architecture, and so much more. So its a little weird that you chose not to showcase the other good things.
I'm not personally offended by this video since it doesn't present anything false, but rather, it's the one-sided portrayal that's concerning. It can create a distorted perception, especially for those who haven't had the opportunity to experience Kolkata or India. If I were someone completely unfamiliar with India and this were the first video I watched, it could leave me with a misguided impression of the entire country for a considerable amount of time.
I hope you consider showcasing the other side of India as well💜
