Hej Allihopa!
I was an exchange student in Sweden way back in 97/98 and I’m back to pedal the length of this beautiful country. I’m starting my adventure above the Arctic Circle in Kiruna, and I’ll make my way down to the bottom of Sweden where my host family lives. In this episode, I meet a cool Dutch guy, hideout from a rainstorm in an old RV, get pummeled by rain the next day, and meet a wonderful couple who take me into their home. 1. Hey Ryan, just a question but do you think you could have done this trip on your Priority 600 all road? It seems like you are on alot of gravel and pavement, except for when Kamoot took you and Mike bushwacking.

  2. I've been home, sick and off my bike for nearly four weeks now. Watching you blaze through my homeland is a true joy Ryan!

I had a plan for my first bike tour/bike packing adventure this summer largely inspired by your many adventures but sadly I had to cancel it last minute because of the god awful weather this summer. The rain never ceased throughout my whole four weeks of vacation which was absolutely soul crushing! Here's to next year!

  3. You've really nailed the timing for Ole-ole–ing under bridges, even when it's a double. 😁

BTW, this side of the Atlantic, that RV you stayed in is called a 'caravan' and the self selection of sweets is called a 'pick 'n mix'.

  4. Well… there was lot of $rockefeller climate terrorist attacks around the world but what can you do? Most important that Pocantico etc. are safe places.😎

  5. The footage is incredible. I don’t know how you can be on a challenging tour with weather and loooong days and still manage to put together such great footage. Great stuff!

  6. Wow! So cool to see you cycling through beautiful Svärdsjö which is just round the corner from our summer house in Sundborn. Shame about the foul weather though! I wasn’t there at the time, but a couple of weeks later I had a lovely day ride through the same area. You will have to come back some time as Sweden really wasn’t trying hard enough for your visit!

  7. Brilliant! I rode up from Barcelona in 2021 to BERGAN Norway and Norway kicked my tail end but alas I remember even the tiny bug crossing a road as it was in s l o w m o t I o n!!!! Need your advice on a fall ride in this crazy country this fall?

  8. I love following your adventures! Sweden holds a special place in my heart after visiting there a few years ago. I rode a Harley from Oslo down the coast of Sweden, before returning to Holland where I began. My only regret was not taking more time to enjoy myself as I was on a time timeline. All the more reason to go back. Keep up the great work!

  9. If you'd taken the counter clockwise turn around the lake to that midsommarstång you passed about 22 minutes in to this video you would have rolled right passed my summerhouse, following gravel routes, maybe even right through my yard. Man, I would have been so excited to see you! You got lucky passing through those areas, so much wilderness and so much of the best of Sweden imho.

  10. Ryan I love you and your adventures!!! This one is so sweet!! I just finished your incredible book. Wow, please write more, you just make life so much fun and interesting!!! I love your drone shots and music too. Have you ever read “Miles from Nowhere” by Barbara Savage? Her and her husband Larry rode around the world on their bikes in the 1970’s. She’s a great author and just like you I felt like I was right there with them. I really hope that you get a chance to read it. I’ve read it 4 times and love it every time. Of course I’ll read your book many times too. Way to go and I also love how much you love your MOM!!!! My husband is 81 and I’m 67 and now we have Pedego ebikes and love to ride them a lot. Thank you for being the fun loving person to watch!!!!!

  11. We come from ancestors who lived as a tribe! We Rely on each other! I work everyday on my Mind, Spirit And Body! You have a choice brother and it looks like you are making the right Ones! Peace ✌️ And Love ❤️ from Tucson Arizona Desert 🏜️🙏

  12. I live in the Arizona Desert 🏜️. We Pray 🙏🙏🙏🙏 For Rain ☔☔☔. First thing I do when it rains is get my rain 🌧️🌧️🌧️ gear on and go for a Bike Ride 💪❤️🙏

  13. I'm really gonna miss this series when it's over. I hope you're planning another Europe trip! Seeing you riding here on YouTube makes it more special somehow.

  14. Just when you even think you are an athlete, you run across a humble man like Lase who puts things back into proper perspective. Humans can be amazing and do incredible things. That applies for the rest of us, not you. You are definitely an incredible endurance athlete.

  15. love your adventures Ryan!
forests burn. it is normal. environmentalists had a fit thirty or forty years ago when yellowstone burned while they pointed fingers of blame at anyone and everyone, once the canadian undergrowth is cleared by fire the forests will seed and regrow like they are supposed to do. the way yellowstone did in all of 5 years.
