      Hi: nice RV surprise. Well, I think it fabulous to start in the north, as it’s getting pretty cold now.
      I’ll miss you if you come to Coimbra, I live here since December 2021, but I have to solve things in Argentina in October and November. Personally I have no experience with sleeping in cars, only once in Uruguay I chose a place, and in the morning it was full of farm life around the car. Another time in Germany, same story, lots of cows looking at us. But nearly 2 years of my 71 were sleeping on board of sailboats, and that's an experience I'll try to do again. As I started 2023 in Funchal for the fireworks, passed a bad night in Achada de Gaula, and then 10 days in Santa Cruz put a spell on me, I'll try to repeat and extend the tour this year.

      Oh my! I remember our 1st RV grocery haul – took a while to get all the right cabinet j’enga sorted so it didnt all land on our heads when we stopped😂😂😂 We are coming to tour for all of Oct – maybe we’ll see you!

      Oh, this is an interesting turn. I’m going to be watching this closely as visiting mainland Portugal using a camper is also on my bucket list. Watch the hight of your camper van when crossing bridges btw. Not sure if Google on a smartphone takes this into account. Garmin and Tomtom have dedicated devices for campers (you enter the dimensions of your camper in them and they route accordingly) and are reasonably priced. Afterwards, you can stil use the gps in a normal car also. Not sure if i missed something but what happened with your dog?
