Wow for just $650 a month Expenses and you own a house,SUV and a farm that's amazing. I have a Questions a friend of mine from the PHILIPPINES send me this monthly Expenses : $ 500 – Simple life in the Province 1,000 – Small town / City 1,500 – Medium 1st Class size city. 2,000 – Cebu/Davao 2,500 – Manila 3,000 – Makati/BGC/ Ortigas CBD Can you give a comment on the accuracy of this Expenses because will used it as a reference when we finally settle and lived in the PHILIPPINES…Tnx Tim God blessed ❤🇨🇦🇵🇭
For 3000us a month you can live in The Netherlands!!!! Which isn't a cheap country. When I sell my house, downside and don't have a morgage anymore (and pay off some credit and tax depth), I could live on easily 1500US a month in Holland. Anyone who needs 3000US a month to live in Asia has some serious credit depth. Or not?
Tim, you’re looking really good, you’re looking stronger and healthier. I am in my 50s and I think I probably have low T if you could go over what you’re taking and how you get it would be a real help to me. Keep in mind I am Canadian and don’t have access to your VA Hosp. I will visit you, but it’ll take 3 yrs before I retire.
If you want to live life simple it's the place to be. Of course there are trade offs living in a city or town proper. Our house in leyte is a fifty kilometers trip costing one hundred pesos one way by mini bus. Main highway is seven kms. It's the provincial capital so you could find good food and others services and commodities hard to find. Nice to see foreigners enjoying our country. Nice content sir TimK. Keep it up.
Maybe your best interview. He's upbeat and not the typical bar owner aussie. Older expats usually marry younger women to change their diapers, this guy chose a sugar m****.
Need a big amount of cash to buy a house and lot first. Around 60 grand to 100 grand. The bigger the house the bigger electric bill. Electric is expensive. 14k a month for a decent house. His huge house has got to be minimum 5-10k if he doesn’t use aircon at all.
That guy who you interviewed in Cebu i mean the suburb who pays $150.00 a month for a 3 bdrm house and owned his own car was probably living under $1000.00 a month total budget…. If you live a simple clean lifestyle you will probably be saving money every month and stacking away some dough…
650$ would be a simple life in the province, don't expect toooo much, don't think of city life, I have lived here for 2 years, city life expect 1500 $ + or ( 100,000 pesos) for a reasonable lifestyle. As a foreigner.
As a foreigner you will be charged more for everything, ever if you are with a Filipino they will charge her more just because you are with her, RENT is more for foreigners. You have visa costs , hospital costs, dentists.. Foreigner are charged more because Filipinos think you are rich. My RENT for a 2 bedroom apartment in the city is 21,000 pesos, after a year the owner said the RENT is now 26,000..pesos …I said I will move out…so she kept my RENT @ 21,000 pesos .

I'm an expat living in the Philippines I live on $700 dollars per month. No problem.

He looks old and tired, she looks fantastic and not old at all!
All fine until you get sick or injured. Then you are screwed big time on that budget.
Tim K is a celebrity in the Philippines but in the US, he's just an ordinary Joe.
