– Suseong Lake Park
This lake park is located at 78 Muhak-ro (Doosan-dong), Suseong-gu, Daegu, and was created on April 24, 1927.
It is a family outing location for Daegu citizens, and a major dating place for couples, and is known for their famous duck paddle boats.
The area of Suseongmot Lake is 218,000 meters and the circumference of the pond is 2,020 meters, with a water storage capacity of 700,000 tons.
Additionally, there is an island within Suseongmot Lake, named Dungji (Nest) Island, and it’s home to a variety of animals and plants. Birds such as storks and egrets live here and are often seen flying over the lake. It’s well worth visiting to see this amazing act of nature. There are also nests on the island that make this place so amazing.
A video music fountain is operated during certain times every year. In addition, the ‘Suseongmot Festival’ hosted by the Suseong Cultural Foundation is held every year in the area of Suseongmot Lake, Deulan-gil Food Town, and Suseong Artpia from September to October. It is usually held for 3 days.
