One of the best villages in Spain that I’ve ever been to. Alcalá del Júcar is in Albacete province, eastern Spain. It sits on a steep hillside overlooking the Júcar River and its gorgeous gorge. Dominating the hill, the Alcalá del Júcar Castle is a medieval Arab fortress with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.
