Visiting Lisbon or Cascais? Consider taking a day trip to Cabo da Roca, a cape which forms the westernmost point of mainland Portugal and continental Europe.
Located near the town of Sintra and just outside of the Sintra Mountain Range and 42 kilometers west of the city of Lisbon. Around Cabo da Roca, cliffs are more than 100 meters in height, and cut into crystalline rocks.
