Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau

Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau is a great mountain pass with one of Norway’s finest national parks.
The day we drove over this mountain pass, the weather was unfortunately not the best. But one gets an impression of the scenic area we drive through.
On the way up, you pass a small village called Eidfjord at the very bottom of the fjord. It is located at the very bottom of one of the arms of the Hardangerfjord. In the summer, many chrus ships come to this village.
When you go ashore, you can visit Mobedalen where one of Norway’s largest and most beautiful waterfalls is, namely the Vøringsfossen waterfall. We will bring you a drone video from this waterfall.
Toren continues upwards until you reach the plateau and get a view of glaciers and not least the relatively flat mountain landscape of Hardangervidda.
When you come down to the eastern side of Hardangervidda, you have come to the eastern part of Norway with long valleys and forested areas.
