  1. Using Grab to drive around is about $7-10per trip.

He over paid for the bike u can get a bike for 100/150 Đông Á đây.

Vietnamese ppl drive a chill speed and flow with the traffic so coming to a full stop or driving to fast can be dangerous

  2. DaNang was a dump with refugees living on streets filled with their 6×6 cardboard shacks . It was dangerous. I went back in 2005 with my Vietnamese wife and our 15 year old daughter. It was at early night and my wife’s family came down from Phu Bai to take us to the smallish hotel in Hue. It was about 80 degrees and the people were cold. The shacks were replaced by row after row of cement block shops and houses. Every wore either copies of US Navy flight jackets Or American style hooded ski jackets. They wore shorts and beach clogs. Everyone sat on plastic beach chairs. Many were children. They all were listening to radios blasting Vietnamese pop music. It reminded me of inner NY City on a hot summer night. The streets were alive and it was a great scene. The Hai Van Pass at night was scary as hell. My daughter would later go up the pass on the back of a close cousin’s motorcycle. By Phu Long it was already 8:30 and people were all asleep. In front of every house was a small display of either Buddha or a Catholic cross. The streets of Hue were bustling by 7 the next morning. All the shops were small streetfront. We got some Vietnamese coffee which is strong and really good. We let our daughter sleep. Everyone in Vietnam had cell phones even then. It is the most cyber country in that region. My wife’s 99 year old mother called to scream where the heck were we. She’d been waiting in the village square
    since 6.
It was a quiet gentle pleasant scene. No more war. And the people loved Americans cuz we were not out to rape their daughters as many Europeans seemed to be.

  4. Looks like a nice scenery, but the food is not for me. I’m more of an Italian, American, & Mexican food guy … solid meals without the little helpings that you show. Overall, very nice.

  5. @ 43 second into the video… WFT dude? Might as well have her naked walking around. I dont care where you are born you are still a Vietnamese and so respect your freaking self. Nasty!!!

  6. Guys this is a great video but the cute girl and the editing paint a slightly different picture to the reality in my opinion. I'm in Danang currently after having lived in Thailand many times and for me Thailand is a million times better for a lot of reasons. It is very cheap here however so if you're looking for a cheap break, go for it, but for me… I need to get back to Thailand 🇹🇭!
