  1. Wow! What an excellent and informative video in a very enjoyable format. In addition to all that I was able to learn about real estate in Porto, Portugal, I am even more impressed by your high level of communication and presentation. All the best as you move into the next phase.

  2. Congratulations. Thank you for sharing your journey and vulnerabilities. You both overcame so much. I look forward to watching your new series.

  3. Congrats! I've been following your journey for some time now. I moved to Portugal from Northern California and after viewing somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 -60 properties would say your assessment is spot on. The lack of insulation, ventilation, heating and cooling is everywhere, even in super expensive properties! I have come to the conclusion as well that I am not comfortable buying a property with all these issues. I do not want to own something with ongoing mold/damp issues. And a new build is also really problematic. I have spoken to many people who have had their builds take 3 times as long as expected and have had the cost of building materials more than double during the process. I have decided to pause, rent, assess the market and learn more. Would be super cool to have a property with multiple nice small houses, possibly prefab with shared amenities like a pool and/or garden in a more rural or suburban setting. Looking into this idea, but assuming it would be close to impossible with the current regulations in place. Have any thoughts on this idea?

  4. As a Portuguese myself, I really don't understand Americans come to Portugal buy either old or new properties / houses in a small poor country with rotten politicians and they end up hating everything in this country, critisize everything, I think you should critize more …,

  5. It's a country with no future. In my opinion you should have chosen a better place to live in Europe if it is your aim, of course. If you come to Portugal from the USA sooner or later you'll find out that everything here is slow, very very very slow, outdated narrowminded. I wish you all the best and mark my words you pay taxes and taxes and taxes and hidden taxes. I'm sure. that when you finish building or renovating your property you will be so tired that you will go back to the USA. Don't forget that removating, reconstructing a building you ara going to have lots of headaches, slepless nights, beawear of the builders, licences for everything and inspections…. At the end of the process you will be ready to sell it and leave to your country or another country. Say well, stay safe and happy. You'll get thousands of likes because Portugal is so indigent in every aspect that your audience is going to have lots of moments of fun. As for a Portuguese, this situation makes me cry! "Well, that's the way of the word, Baldwrick!" Rowan Aktinson Blackadder There are a lot of mistakes and errors but English is not my native language and this is the result of I've learned at school and through life so far.

  6. Congratulations!!! So very happy for you all. 😊❀ Hope it's all you want and more!! And Congratulations on 3 years in Portugal coming up very soon!!!

  7. Thank you fir sharing your experience and expertise. Very helpful and encouraging. Congratulations. The issue CPCV is very important and might be helpful exploring more in your future videos to educate us many of us have been caught in ignorance.

  8. I love that you all had the selfless idea of adding more units to Portuguese real estate. This will definitely help. I hope others who are able to will consider doing the same. Congratulations as well πŸŽ‰

  9. This is very inspiring, we all are learning through your journey! I am still looking for an accountant in Porto, would you recommend anyone that knows about online businesses, or maybe one of your videos that has some insights about it? Thank you so much for all the information you guys are giving out here!

  10. So happy for you guys. Love the cameo from Teresa, who is responsible for me and Lisa having our wonderful apartment in Matosinhos. Look forward to watching the progress on the new channel. ParabΓ©ns!

  11. Congratulations πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ this is amazing!!! Looking forward to the renovation process.
