      18 million in a very small country is a lot of people ( Amsterdam is well known for its floral gardens, they have hugh indoor hydrphonic factories where they grow beautiful flowers and ship them express worldwide , also Netherlands is home to many world champions, Olympic champions in most winter sports ( speed skating cross country ,skiing, swimming,biking , biathlon etc.

The Dutch agro-industry focuses on international export is laundry before almost 21% of the country's total export value. The Netherlands is in first place in the European Union (EU), provided that it is in second place in the world, after the United States (USA), due to the export of agricultural products. The agricultural industry employs 4% of the Dutch workforce plus produces huge residues before food plus the processing industry. Some of the food plus agricultural products exported from the Netherlands include tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, apples, flowers and bulbs.

      The Netherlands is very flat and low-lying. A large part of the country's total area of 41,500 square kilometers lies below sea level, which creates major challenges with flooding. Dikes, sand dunes and an extensive delta system, the Deltawerken, along the coast protect the country from the sea.
