Yellowstone National Park has been one of the key destinations of our RV roadtrip plans right from the start. The park is so rich in wildlife, geo-thermal geysers and hot springs, but it can take hours to get around due to the free roaming animals in the park. Hayden Valley proved particularly hard to navigate due to a HUGE Bison Bull having a standoff with the traffic and the Park Rangers.
Join us as we explore Yellowstone in our rental RV as part of our 5 week road trip to the Rocky Mountains. In this episode we visit all the major tourist hotspots, take the opportunity to try out some of the campgrounds and immerse ourselves in the rich wildlife that wanders the park.
How did this come about? We are travelling with Jackie’s Mum who is on her own personal quest to visit all 50 states- she is currently 41 and counting! She is hoping in this trip to make it to 46!
We are Richard and Jackie and we live in the UK. We retired from teaching at the age of 51 just over a year ago. Our plans for early requirement include relocating to the Yorkshire Dales, developing our forever home and travelling the UK, Europe and eventually the world in our VW campervan Nelson.

Obviously not on this trip but you need to visit Yosemite NP, stunning, and Mount Rainer NP, breathtaking 😊
