I had extended my stay in the UNESCO city of Luang Prabang by six days so I could witness the Sabaidee Festival of Light. I had already experienced the lantern festival taking place in the many temples but now it was time for the festival finale.
I headed up to the main street in the city to witness the procession of hundreds of boats, all lit by candles and lanterns, make their way through the city to the Mekong River. The atmosphere was incredible.
Join me as I experience the incredible Sabaidee Festival of Luang Prabang.

Wow, what an incredible festival to witness mate, can you imagine the crowd control over here, probably more police than people, and there not problem at all. 👍
Laos have many festivals through out the year not seen by most tourists.
