Suvarnabhumi International Airport, also known as Bangkok Airport, is Thailand’s largest aviation hub and ranks among the world’s most impressive transportation centers. Its amenities are exceptional, and it connects to daily flights spanning every continent. Approximately 58 million travelers annually pass through Suvarnabhumi Airport, making Thailand’s primary entry point for international arrivals and a significant transfer point within Southeast Asia.
DEPARTURES
All departures from Bangkok Airport take place at the airline check-in desks located on the fourth floor. Domestic check-ins are specifically situated between Rows B and C. Row A serves as the exclusive area for Thai Airways’ Royal First Class and Royal Silk passengers. For international departures, you should head to Rows D through W. It’s advisable to ensure you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to international departures and 1 hour before domestic departures.
ARRIVALS
Upon arrival, you might enter through a terminal gate or a bus gate, depending on your airline and flight route. Bus gates are closer to Immigration on the 2nd floor, while terminal gates may require a longer walk. In the arrivals hall at Bangkok Airport, you’ll find dining options, SIM card shops, and ATMs.
