In this video, I want to show you what Vietnam is like during the rainy season. As I begin the day, you’ll see how Ho Chi Minh City can be quite wet and rainy during September. If you’re visiting Saigon during rainy season, you’ll want to bring proper clothing (sandals, flip flops, umbrella, or poncho).
As I walk around and show you what the streets are like during the day, you’ll notice that traffic can be crazy at all times, and even more crazy and chaotic in the evening.
ONe purpose of this video is to give you an understanding of how Bui Vien (Saigon’s Walking Street) looks before and after the party. The street really begins to start popping off after 8PM. If you want to experience it during it’s peak hours, head there after that time. Sit down, eat some food, grab a few drinks, listen to club music and people-watch.
It is an interesting street to take part in at least once during your trip. Although, be warned that you might get offered many “special massages”, and touted to eat and drink at every restaurant.
I plan to show you more daily life of Vietnam and it what it is like living in Saigon. Vietnamese culture is fascinating and the Vietnamese people are very friendly. Come along for some more vlogging explorations of Vietnam.
