My family used to go yearly to the parks. I am priced out now, so we will not be going again.
Didn't Iger say recently that they were too aggressive with pricing. Same old lip service I've come to expect.
I don’t want them to take Hansel and Gretel and Peter and the Wolf !!! I love the storybook boat ride at DLP I don’t want it to change . I hope they don’t start messing with DLP
🤔 I wonder how much of this money will go to increasing the castmembers pay?! It's so disappointing, we would take our kids any chance we would get but it's so exhausting to even think about planning a trip just to be on your phone the whole time we're in the parks, on top of that you add all the price increases, it's just not worth it for us, the experience doesn't match the prices. I can do so much more with my time, effort and money elsewhere. I never thought I'd get to this point, never. 😖

You morons will still go though. That is why they can get away with this. I will never spend one red penny after my DW experience last year. I had to park hop on my last day in order to see all 4 parks. They charged me a park hopper pass for all 4 days. Kiss my ass!

It’s sad that they need to increase prices to the people who are loyal to Disney parks in order to maintain a certain income level to keep things operational. That is not how supply and demand works.

Disney is a motion picture and theme park location. They need to go back to making quality animated and original movies. Sell all of your high expensive items like Pixar and marvel to Apple and bring back the magic Walt envisioned.

That's so awesome that Disneyland Paris' version of Storybook Canal includes Return to Oz. I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers and loves that movie! 😃 That is definitely one of Disney's underrated and underappreciated classics, along with The Black Cauldron. I will definitely check out that video!😃
Universal is just as expensive especially food. But as military spouse the deal at universal is unbeatable for around 200$ you can get basically an annual pass with a few black out dates. Also the hotels are cheaper.

If think the parks are going to be crowded after this …they are kidding themselves. Besides people will definitely have less money to spend on gifts, tours or special events. Iger really is an idiot, but perhaps the last mgr…..was really bad and definitely didn’t know how to run a company!
I ended up getting a universal annual pass
I've been going to Disney since Disney World opened in the 70s. I'm a DVC member and loved Disney…but, no longer. I hate woke Disney. The magic is dead dead dead! Thank goodness Disney did not buy Harry Potter. Disney would have destroyed that franchise. My advice is go to universal for a good time. I will stay at the DVC resort because I've paid for it. But Disney won't be getting any more of my money. Perhaps they'll be bought, and someone with common sense will set Disney straight in the future. One can hope.
I cannot fathom this strategy: Let's not give you what you want, give you what we want and then charge you more, much more, than is fair. Really?
We made our last trip in awhile if not forever this past September. It was fun with our yearly trips but the prices don’t stop going up. $4.99 for a soda?

For a family of 5 to go to Hollywood Studios last Thursday was over $800 just for tickets . One coke and one bottle of water was almost $8 dollars .Hard pass Disney we will spend our money elsewhere.
I hope they keep staying woke and raising prices, as long as they keep upsetting people with price hikes and pissing off their shareholders allowing their stocks to drop, I will keep shorting it 📉. I been shorting their stock almost daily for over a year. Thank you Disney for paying me so much that you have allowed me to buy a new home and fund my family vacations to Universal for literally the next 5 years. Keep up the poor work!
