While walking down the street in Kuwait City I was stopped by the police and questioned for filming. You can watch the other video I referred to here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVGe3n485MI

  1. I love your laconic line "Let's see if people stop here…kinda sorta" when you are already halfway across the crossing. Very brave of you to test out the traffic to see if drivers have manners or not Gabriel. If they didn't I guess we wouldn't be watching the rest of this video at that point on because it might have ended with a either the delightful image of just the clear blue sky or the mechanical details that lie on underside of a vehicle ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Free speech that we enjoy in the West isn't a given in most other parts of the world. I expect that when I'm in a large city that there is some camera trained upon me most of the time. Sounds like you handled things as best as you could.

  3. Stay safe Gabe. Trust your instincts as you have experienced so many countries and know how to deal with situations. Moral of the story is that you did as you were asked and were safe to move on out of there. Keep on cruisin' โœŒ๏ธ

  4. This channel is literally turning into a scam, really low quality content with almost every other vlog a clickbait and catchy headline. I follow and watch this channel like a religion (with two jobs on a side) and itโ€™s becoming increasingly difficult to watch 25/40 mins vlogs nothing more than a random talk (or storm in a tea cup). This vlog of 25 mins isnโ€™t worth 25 seconds and same with previous vlog about taxi scam. Understand youโ€™re pushing for views to fund travel however this is on the expense of loyal viewers which is completely unfair. I could have just unsubscribed however I didnโ€™t because I care and rather not.

  5. You think Kuwait is bad. In Australia if you criticise Israel in anyway shape or form youโ€™ll go straight to jail. Australia is a modern day commie police state of the highest order.

  6. When the recent problems started in the Gaza Strip, you were the first person I thought of and was checking where you were currently. My brother was on an aircraft carrier during the Gulf War and I watched my mom worry herself silly during that time.

I wish you would travel somewhere far, far away from that part of the world for the time being. I worry.

  7. Hello Gabe, fantastic journeys. I love how you announce the date and temperature of where you are straight up. I have implored more people I follow on YouTube to do the same, to no avail. thank you, and safe travels.

  8. Gabriel, You got really lucky. Ministry of Interior in Kuwait and State bans filming there. Unless, you have a media ID or someone is paying you to take your blogs. Legally, you cannot film anyone there without there consent. You could have been arrested and sentenced to three years in prison.

  9. Whilst u r walking and talking on the Video, certainly nothing of note to see in Almaty ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
