US F-15 Fighter jets were Deployed for a surprise attack on the Eastern Mediterranean coast
The US Air Force deployed bomb-laden F-15 Strike Eagle fighter jets to the Eastern Mediterranean region, several F-15E fighter planes also carried out sorties at undisclosed locations. In the last few days the US has continued to strengthen its presence in the Middle East region along with the deployment of the aircraft carrier USS Gerald Ford to the Mediterranean Sea.
