I share my story on how I went from zero to fluent Spanish as an adult and met my venezuelan/Spanish girlfriend as a result. From traveling in Latin American countries like Costa Rica and Colombia to living in Spain, this journey has been fun and I hope you can be inspired and learn something from this!

Adventure Elliot is a bilingual travel vlogger (English and Spanish) with a particular interest in the Spanish speaking world. I enjoy taking adventures – big or small – and my goal is to show the Spanish speaking world 1 video at a time.
The goal of my channel is simple yet complex: I want to document and share authentic & educational content of anything related to Adventure Travel, Geography, & Language in the Spanish-speaking world. It’s kind of a loaded topic, but it allows me to never exhaust my creative outlets. The truth is, I’ve always been extremely passionate about what I’m doing on my channel, but I never properly documented it when I started adventuring as a younger man in my college years. I’ve made over 150 Youtube videos in both English and Spanish, and I have aspirations to make 1000s more. If that sounds interesting to you, join the community and follow me along the way.. After all, we’re just getting started.

Get a Spanish girl/boyfriend and let the language flow.
As one of your earliest followers and when you mentioned the time when you started you tube is truly unbelievable. Where does the time go man.
As I have been to my house in Spain a few times this year and to go back to Alicante again in November, I always find my Spanish always improves when I am there as necessity dictates that you have to know some Spanish. Supermercados are the typical example when you need to know more than you think either in reading or speaking. I have always thought that you are an inspiration to many and at least interesting to watch for others interested in Spanish culture and Spain in general. Sadly there are now so many rules and regulations on most things that it’s surprising that anyone anywhere does anything???
Always great video as always interesting and informative. I think I have been in Spain about 8 weeks this year not long enough in my opinion
Well done as usual
eliot a esa que esta en toples se pone en toples porque no le importa que la vean o graven, porque si le importara se taparia
Thanks for tips. Been learning Spanish on and off most of my life. I also speak fluent French from Canada so it's been easier to learn.
cheers! ole!!
Y ahora eres uno de los nuestros Elliot, sólo te falta la nacionalidad🇪🇦😉.¡Me encantan tus vídeos, un abrazo Elliot!
Those earbuds would have been helpful when I decided to move to Chile and now that I'm living in Poland.
where you are walking at 24:00 is what I remember of malaga. Why are the so many undeveloped sites like this?
Elliot, thank you so much that was an awesome story. As I mentioned earlier I will be in Spain for 3wks in March. I will be in Malaga. We are planning to move there with in a year. I have been using Duolingo, so I have the basics but like you said my brain needs to hear spanish constancy. My trip in March is an exploratory one, but I plan to return with in the same year.
Malaga kinds of look like california, i remember elliot you went to a neighborhood in malaga not the bad barrios but a middle class barrios, you went to the hill and literally reminds
Me and looked like East L.A
Ive know you for 20 years love to see it
Elliot, eres un crack. Enhorabuena!
Sos un crack
Are you going to italy soon?
hi Elliot, just to let you know you may also have a kind of audience you didn't consider before. It's probably not huge, but let me discribe it to you. I'm a spanish national that had a similar adventure to yours, but I went the opposite route, I learnt the english language. Now I'm here in London, 12 years after I landed, it was only for one summer, and here I am, met my other half had a couple of wonderful kids. I like to watch your videos in english so I can see what you speak about my country. Happy to see you thrive in Spain, one day I'd love to go back, and honestly Malaga is one of the places I'd definitely go. Keep the good work up! ❤
Wish I had the balls to move to Spain it’s a dream of mine, LOVE the country
.Good night from PAPUA NEW GUINEA. i enjoyed watching your contents
Ostias, Elliot, que bien hablas inglés!!!! 😂😂😂😂
Why is Costco pronounced Cost Co but Costa Rica is pronounced, Coast A Rica? (By gringos)
Great video. It's disturbing to see English speaking expats building " bubbles" and never speaking Spanish although they live in Malaga. They're totally oblivious to the amazing experience their missing. I'm now fluent after working my ass off. You can't be lazy.
Thanks for sharing some awesome videos and your story. It’s amazing and I am so inspired to at least visit Malaga! I love the beach and it looks beautiful there. Sardinia is another place I want to go.
Hey buddy, we have something in common. "By the grace of God, we ended in beautiful Malaga". When we get back, we should hang out & talk about that "earbud translator"…interesting device. As always, eres amable y genial. Saludos a Carrie !👍
