  1. Guys what do you think about this slower pacing and longer video format? Keep it this way or continue with my usual fast, high-energy, straight-to-the-action style?

  2. Navy wives association is the group of women who are married to Thai Naval officers. They get together for the purpose of social
events, charities work, fundraising etc. I graduated from Naval nursing college years ago. Some of my classmates married Naval officers, and they are members of this association. I kinda remember the area but there are some changes. Btw, that durian meals are very interesting. I have never seen that before. I have to say my Thais are very creative when it comes to food!

  3. Hey paul i have a question, so we've done enough research in terms of Work permits, Work Visas, Citizenship, driver's license, housing, entrepreneurship etc which we will have access to get in the future, but my question is because I play soccer (Futbol) have been playing since I was 7 years of age winning multiple little league, high school and college championships on my resume, is there a way I can walk on or try out for a soccer team in Thailand? Do you have any friends that play at all? If so please can I give you my email address to give to them or for yourself to have more information on trying out for a soccer team there, I'm a striker, thank you once again for your content.

  4. Noisy motorcycles, super noisy tuk tuk, noisy cars, all with modified mufflers to maximize noise and disruption. The opposite of peaceful or natural. The car culture there is super ghetto and aggressive. Dystopia!

  5. About Pattaya, if you want a bit quiet and relaxed neighborhood, choose Chomthien, only a few kilometers away. Rent is cheaper and food is generally cheaper as well if you shop at local daily night market at Theppasit market. If you prefer beach ambience there is also a night market across the road to the beach where you can sit on the bench drinking Thai beer while watching sunset on the beach horizon. BTW, you can pay MRT fare if you have VISA/MasterCard, just tap and enter. You can also board Chao Phraya electric boat to visit places, just tap Visa/MasterCard.

  6. Love video, excellent job as always. Questions-what area is your friends condo again? What’s the name of the place you guys were playing darts? I’m visiting Thailand next year for the first time. I’m planning and rearranging and planning again. It changes every day. Thanks again. Keep the content flowing.

  7. This is probably thrn best starter video that weve seen on Bangkok. Brilliant content, structure, presentation and editing. We are already here, currently in Chinatown and moving to Sukhumvit area shortly. Subscribed!

PS: What camera are you using? Colours and quality so bright and clear.

  8. I’ve been twice this year. Once during spring break, and then for a month this past July. I’ve already bought my 1-way ticket for June and plan to stay for at least a year. May stay longer! Thanks for these videos

  9. I have the Thai retirement visa and rent a condo 1 bedroom, furnished near Asoke in Bangkok at 18000 baht a month including electric, washing, WiFi with movie package if I chose to watch TV.
Currently have work in Malaysia in the oil and gas although originally I worked in Thailand for almost 8 years.
I enjoy pace of life in Thailand and although I am almost 61 plan to work a little longer.
My Thai partner has a few businesses and does not need anything from me except being a good boyfriend.
She is actually a multi millionaire so actually she makes far more money than I could make as an expat in the oil and gas industry.
Her thai husband died a few years ago because of covid related illness which caused him to go into a coma and die.
I am ready to retire soon and enjoy more time with her.

  10. I fully agree about the people living in Thailand and not speaking Thai even a couple words make me think wow.. I've been in Thailand for 3 months and learned a little bit and going to educate myself more through learning every day since I decided to stay her for at least one more year. Before I wasn't sure if I could stay here because of the visa case. Cool video 🙏

  11. Thailand is best place for foreigners to move to. Indonesia and Vietnam next. Dont bother going to Philippines it’s too dangerous there for tourists and retirees 😊

  12. The prob is the time zone. How are you able to live there? Id have a remote ametican job and schedule so id have to live like a vampire……also, what visa allows you to stay that long?

  13. I just found your channel. Love it so far. Can you please clarify your "i recommend having at least $5k disposable income" statement. Is that monthly usd income?
