First time in the Western Mediterranean, the Norwegian Prima recently finished a summer program in Northern Europe. Earlier this month, the Norwegian Cruise Line ship repositioned from the Mediterranean to the Mediterranean, offering nine- to ten-night cruises to destinations in Italy, Spain, and France.
Barcelona was the departure point for the first voyage in the series on October 13. During the nine-night cruise from Civitavecchia, the Prima will visit Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Marseille, Cannes, Genoa, Naples, and Livorno – where it will stay for two days.
La Spezia, Toulon, Cagliari, and Cartagena are among the other destinations the ship will visit during its fall program in the Western Mediterranean. The Norwegian Prima will depart Europe for North America on Nov. 20.
Barcelona to New York City is the destination for the transatlantic cruise, which also visits Spain, Portugal, and Bermuda. Galveston is scheduled to offer seven-night Caribbean cruises on the 142,500-ton vessel during the 2023-24 winter. In addition to Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico, Roatán, in Honduras, is included in the itineraries.
Norwegian Cruise Line’s private Belizean island destination Harvest Caye will also be part of the Norwegian Prima’s regular itinerary. Additionally, the ship will offer two cruises in the Mediterranean in October 2024, as well as a third summer program in Northern Europe. Designed by Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, the Norwegian Prima is the first ship of six in the Prima Class series.
The Norwegian Cruise Line ship, which can accommodate 3,215 passengers, has been designed to offer enhanced amenities to guests. Indulge offers an upscale food hall where you can sample different specialties and experiences, along with a three-deck Prima Speedway, the world’s largest go-kart track at sea.
