    Join me as I cross from America to Japan by luxury cruise ship, onboard Silversea’s Silver Whisper. This is an ultra luxury cruise line, where everything is taken care of from having your own butler, a spacious Royal suite, fine dining and first class service. We’ll travel some 4,000 miles from Seward Alaska, stopping briefly on Kodiak Island, and in Dutch harbour, before passing the international date line. We’ll arrive into Tokyo, Japan after 14 days at sea. I’ll show you exactly what it’s like from my Royal Suite, to the various restaurants and facilities onboard.       I almost felt I was on this cruise myself. I’ve shied away from cruising, but this may change my mind! And the departure point and final destination are two places I thoroughly enjoy…spent 3 weeks in Alaska with my late husband and now have a strong linkage to Japan with family living in Okinawa…I may consider this journey when i finally retire in a year. Thanks for bringing this experience to life for me!

      Im curious whether you noticed the caviar tasting better when not at the high altitude of a flight? Apparently it dulls the sense of taste a lot, and since you only have it in first class flights, it might be a good item to test that on…

      Screw being humble with the butler i'd have him doing everything. I mean if i'm paying for it and its his job I can at least expect coffee or a breakfast in bed.
