    PERSEPOLIS, Takht-e Jamshid | The Ancient Persian Empire (Brief History) | Iran Travel Vlog



    Persepolis (or also called Takhte Jamshid) is a former capital of Persian Achaemenid Empire built by Darius the Great over 2500 years ago and located 60 km from Shiraz. In this documentary we will explore the ruins of Persepolis and trace the history of the largest country at its time. At the end of the movie we will visit Necropolis, the burial place of Darius the Great and other Achaemend kings
