28 December 2017 – Day 11 – Climbing Mt Kinabalu II
It’s time to head up to the peak of Mt Kinabalu! Starting the trek at 3am we reached the peak at 6am to see one of the most incredible mountain trek sunrises I’ve ever seen!! 😱🌄
It was blistering cold up here and quite a hard hike climbing an elevation of 800m over 3km it was well worth it!
We then descend 2200m in elevation over 9km in 5.5hrs!! Safe to say my knees are going to need some well earnt rest over the next few days.
