Popular destinations in Europe like Paris and Rome frequently appear at the top of travelers’ itineraries. And while we wouldn’t dare advise tourists to skip some of the most famous cultural and gastronomic centers in the world, Europe is plenty of unexpected locations that will far exceed your expectationsโnot just because you might have never thought to visit them in the first place.

Whats in Riga?
Thessaloniki is REALLY overrated. It is extremy dirty, smelly and kinda ugly. Extremely car dependand and almost no crosswalks. The sidewalk of one of the biggest streets is incredibly small and you have to go on the VERY busy road to even get past it. I was there for a around 6 hours and only saw 8 crosswalks. All of which in extremely poor shape and condition. I saw only 1 Bus Stop and didn't even see a tram. I heard they are building a metro, which is good. For such a known, rich and populated city, it is horrible. A joke of a once Great City.
