I met a lady 43, and I am 64. According to her she is over the hill in the Philippines. Be both feel blessed to have found each other. To my surprise one of the two sisters I have was indicating it is just wrong to date/marry her. She hadn't met her but her argument was we wouldn't have anything in common. But we actually do have quite a lot in common. I just am aggravated at the pointless negativity. I thought about my sister's relationship, she is living with a guy close enough in age to be her brother, LOL. I thought I should tell her I don't think they should be together because there is too large of educational gap between them, she has a 2 year college degree and he has attained a doctorate degree, what could they possibly have in common. 😂

I'm not fixated on Bebel. However, I know that there is a story from Genesis that says, "You shall not covet your neighbor's wife." This arose from the fact that a marriage consisted of a very old man and a very young woman, where a young man desired the woman from the chapter that opposed the Exodus. So the Bible allows it.

However, due to the country's special laws, I would recommend dating a young woman aged 25 or older in the Philippines and not younger.

It’s the couples business n no one else’s it’s more acceptable in Philippines how ever in USA especially older women have something to say😂 there is always people here in the states who have to voice their opinion I just tell them to mind their own business

My wife is half my age, and I don't care what other people think. I'm happy, she's happy, who cares what others think?

Ah, age gaps. Well, Mother Nature and all the Gods clearly smile approvingly on such unions, and even bless them. How do we know? Nature has given men the ability to father children into their 70s, and even beyond. But she limits women from that ability beyond around the age of 40. Nature has also arranged it that older men seldom like women closer to their own ages. But nature has provided that many a younger lady likes men who are substantially older than they are. It may look as if it's all about money. But women naturally want mature men who can financially support the wife and kids, and who are no longer playing around.

And nature doesn't prevent love from developing between those of different ages. Nothing new under the sun. To hell with rigid convention and conformity!❤️❤️

Isn’t it funny / strange how Western society (generally)now embrace gay marriage, yet going back 20/30 years ago it was taboo. Nowa days, if an older man has a much younger woman it’s seen as ‘he’s a dirty old man’ or he’s this or that. Yes! There are predatory men out there for sure but no matter what age gap there is (as long it’s legal), it’s still a dogma somewhat. The divorce rate in Western Society is extremely high, around 40/50% so who can say that big age gaps are wrong. Who’s or what bench mark are we basing it on?? I have a Filipina woman who is 16 years younger than l am and we are very happy. I won’t in any way, shape or form be boxed in by others high and mighty opinions. Those same people have problems in their own life. There’s no dress rehearsals in life, you live it once. As long you have good and pure motives, then do what makes you happy and content.
