Whether you’re 20, 40-and-fabulous (like me at 48 ;-)), or 60, it’s never too early or late in life to TRAVEL SOLO. You’ll live an adventure that will enrich your life in ways you can’t even begin to imagine 🙂 Welcome to my channel, WanderwithAngela. Every day I’m grateful to be an expat in Southeast Asia, travelling and exploring its beauty. I’m on a mission to explore 50 countries before I’m 50 years old and in 2018 I added 4 new countries to my list: Vietnam, Maldives, Papua New Guinea & Sri Lanka … all travelled solo.

I hope you’ll subscribe! I share vlogs of expat life in southeast Asia and travel videos of the hottest places to Eat, Drink, Play, Stay, and Play in Southeast Asia.

Here are my TOP 3 REASONS FOR TRAVELLING SOLO IN SOUTHEAST ASIA:
#solotravel #solotravelsoutheastasia #southeastasia

1 – It’s Exotic
I don’t know about you but I’m from Los Angeles, California. In the USA, they speak my language and everything is familiar. But not in Southeast Asia. There, every country celebrates a bright and vibrant culture that is exciting and 1,000% exotic! The food is spicier (generally speaking), healthier, and SO fresh. Architecture is breathtaking and can date back centuries. The sights, smells, and sounds are all unique and will keep your senses dancing!

2 – It’s Diverse
One of my favourite things about Southeast Asia is the diversity of experiences you can have within a 1 block radius. You can be sipping Champagne in a posh 5-star hotel one moment and then you turn around its back alley and you could be sitting on stools around a plastic table, enjoying the best noodles you’ve eaten in your life. It’s like that in every country here I’ve visited and I love the excitement and adventure that offers.

3 – It’s Crazy Cheap
I’ve lived in the USA, Spain, India, China, and Hong Kong … but it wasn’t until I moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia that I saw just how inexpensive and accessible international travel could really be. Jumping from country to country is easy, with a mode of transportation to fit every lifestyle and budget. Even the 5-star hotels are crazy cheap here and that makes pampering one’s self extra easy while you’re exploring a new country!

I’VE LAUNCHED VIDEOS REVIEWS & TRAVEL GUIDES FOR:

– Greater China: Beijing, Hong Kong, Taipei, Macau

– India: Bangalore, Coorg, Mysore

– Indonesia: Bali, Lombok, Medan

– Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur, Cameron Highlands, Penang, Langkawi, Melaka, Mulu (Sarawak, Borneo)

– Maldives

– Singapore

– Sri Lanka: Kandy, Safari in Yala National Park, southern beaches, and Galle … as well as a full transportation guide including sea planes, trains, buses, taxis, and tuk tuks.

– Thailand: Phuket, Koh Samui, Bangkok

– Vietnam: Hanoi, Halong Bay
