We had a great few days in Kep, exploring the National Park with it’s abundant wildlife, the beach and cuisine. A short drive away we found a hidden gem in Phnom Kampong Trach and had our first issue with the language barrier at the barbers on the way back!
Moving on to Kampong we got lucky again with our choice of accommodation staying at the lovely Retro Guesthouse with it’s stilt bungalows by the water, great food and kayaking. It was also a great base to see the Bokor National Park and Kampot town was just a 10 minute tuktuk ride away.

Hi – we are Callum and Jan – and having decided to give up work in our 50’s we are travelling through SE Asia over the next few months.
