  1. I mean, you are really inspired by those Himalayas, and not choosing to visit spiti via reckong peo is a bummer. The best close up view of 6000ers from up close in a town is probably the best from reckong peo(at 2500m), while peaks are no more than 4k's uphill.

  2. Why kill daddy longlegs? You have lost my respect Gabriel.
    You seem to have a fear of animals and insects. You might want to explore that fear—especially of cows and horses. Bears i understand but domestic animals? Wtf?

  3. Sometimes I’ll grab a Daddy Long Leg by a leg and throw him outside, but most spiders I juice with whatever I have nearby. I got bitten by one in Greece this May—just walking to the sea in Artimeda. I assume it dropped out of the bougainvillea down the back of my shirt. Years ago I got bitten by a brown recluse (in my bed) and ever since I have a nasty reaction when a spider gets me. A pharmacist there recommended some kind of magic ointment that really cut down on the reaction!
