It’s my video back in December 2017 when I traveled to Sihanoukville with my brother Sarendy and his friends on a private pick up van. We had breakfast in Phnom Penh city and lunch along National Highway 4. We arrived Sihanoukville city around 2pm. It’s hard to find a cheap guest house along the beach to stay at night as there many Chinese tourists and businessmen filled out the city. We found a guest house in the center of Sihanoukville city, far away from the beach and the price is $25. That’s outrageous. The guest house is not nice and not clean but expensive. We used stay at nice guest houses along the beach from $12 – $15 but not anymore now as they are fully booked and price is 50% increasing. We have to travel around the city for a good and cheap dinner. We ate dinner at Mlob Mean restaurant, a good seafood restaurant with good price. I had a fried squid with pepper & rice which is good. The next morning, I walked around to the 2 Lions circle, and walked to Serendipity beach and the fast boat to island port. Serendipity a beautiful beach along ochheuteal beach at Krong Preah Sihanouk. I walked to a breakfast restaurant at Pub Street where they serve Khmer foods like noodle soup, fried rice and seafood to eat with rice. I had a pork noodle soup for 7000riel (USD1.75). If you wish to visit Sihanoukville, I recommend you to better book the hotel or guest house in advance or it will be hard to find a nice place with affordable price.
