It’s here! Travel day from London Gatwick airport to Palma de Mallorca to join our cruise ship, Marella Voyager, on her last Mediterranean cruise of the season! In this vlog I show you the check in process for a fly-cruise, the flight experience (this one is with Tui Airlines on the Boing 737-800), arrival into Palma de Mallorca, how transfers to the cruise terminal work, including what happens to your luggage, cruise check in once abroad, embarkation process and first impressions of Marella Voyager. By the end of this you’ll hopefully feel much more confident about fly cruise operations and processes! Looking forward to soon sharing the whole cruise experience too.

The next adventure begins! ❤
Blooming love flying, but can’t do it now with spinal problems. Have a fab trip lovelies! Oh flipping twit just realised you’ve done this one! Oh dear can’t help some people eh! Lol.
Couldn't help but laugh when you begged the pilot to not skid off the runway when landing in Palamos! The sheer irony/coincidence of it considering that in the UK there was a TUI flight that did skid off the runway at Leeds during Storm Babet! Thankfully everyone was ok, though.
😉 nice vid. Majestic Gatwick? AmazingStoke? Yet we still get a “smelly old southampton” I give up.
Thanks Jamie, i really enjoyed that flight, not been on a plane for years. Now i know why we sail in and out of Southampton 😅😅
3 mins in and I'm already chuckling Jamie 😂
So, I've been on a couple of cruises with Mein Schiff – TUI cruises; what's the difference between that and your Marella Voyager? I'm guessing the size/age of the ships, and what I managed to read on your info sheet; still curious though.
Loved the vlog Jamie. The seats did look comfy but the back of the seats did look grubby with the stains. I must admit I loved the take off and landing in the little Flybe propeller planes. Always plenty time for some bubbles. The inside cabin looked like there was plenty space. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the vlogs.
Loved your vlog Jamie,We too had heavy rain at Manchester Airport when boarding our Tui flight for Palma,to catch our ship Discovery 2 in September, just like you people in front of us were dilly dallying getting on board,so we were getting wetter waiting on plane steps! Its a great feeling isnt it,when you first walk onto the ship, then see your cabin for the first time, before exploring the ship..Looking forward to your next vlogs
What a fab Vlog Jamie, thoroughly enjoyed it… flying from Gatwick… I can watch now since flying 4 times this year and enjoying them… to nice and sunny Mallorca!!! Why do they always keep your beds apart? Anywho, looking forward to the rest of this series … thank you 😊
Hiya, did you find there were lots of children on the cruise when travelling during half term? Also planning a med cruise next year during the half term (love the itinerary), but also considering and adult only crusie (itinerary not so great, but no kids!).
Great first vlog Jamie 😊can’t wait too see what you get up too ❤
Thanks for this Jamie, always have been nervous of a fly cruise and the flying bit other vlogers tend to miss out much of the detail. This has answered my questions.
Awww really excited for this series!! Really want to go on her! 😍
Loved it Jamie! I am so excited for tomorrow -flying from Glasgow to Tenerife and then on Azura. Will watch your adventures as I sail the Canary Islands!
That juvenile chav in the cap on the bus parodying the Spanish lady’s accent is just the kind of arse I’d pay NOT to be on holiday with.
Another great vlog 😊
Love your videos, we are going on Marella Explorer 2 in May, finding your videos super fun and informative.
