Thai Island-Hopping Part One: Is Koh Jum The Most Chilled Island In Thailand?

It was time to leave the mainland and begin my adventures in the Thai islands of the Andaman Sea.

From Krabi, most travellers head directly to Phi Phi but I had a prior stop off. The island of Koh Jum is only 25 km from Krabi. It is much more relaxed than Phi Phi and welcomes far fewer tourists. Here, you can enjoy beautiful beaches without the crowds. There are also a number of wonderful beach bars where you can enjoy cheap drinks whilst watching the sunset.

It truly is a wonderful island and definitely worth adding to any itinerary.
