    Welcome to Episode 5 of our Iberia, Morocco & France Vlog series with Oceania.

    Our 6-part series (+ a full ship tour walkthrough, and room tour) was filmed over 14 nights, during our cruise aboard Oceania Vista from Barcelona to Southampton, August 2023, where visited Spain, Morocco, Portugal and France (the itinerary heavily focused on the Iberian region), on our way to Southampton England.

    This episode covers La Coruña and Bilbao.

    THE SERIES DOCUMENTS
    Barcelona (where we spent a week exploring pre-cruise, largely focusing on Gaudí, a 1908 music hall, and the Zoo);

    Malaga (where we explore Alcazaba Forteess);

    Tangier (where we visited Cap Spartel, the Hercules Cave and wandered the Casbah);

    Cadiz (where we visited Castillo de Santa Catalina and the waterfront);

    Lisbon (where we toured Belem Tower, Discoveries Monument, and Praça do Comércio);

    Porto (where we toured the historic center and a Port wine lodge) ;

    La Coruña (where we visited Tower of Herculee – the operational 1st century Roman lighthouse, and toured the local marina);

    Bilbao (where we visited the iconic Guggenheim Museum, Artxanda Park for a sweeping view of the city, and toured the Old Quarter);

    Bordeaux (where, on an overnight, we visited the Place des Quinconces – the home of French Revolution monuments, toured the vlilage of Saint Emilion – touring a wine château, and back aboard, took part in Oceania’s Culinary program – learning to make desserts.

    Each episode in our series will premiere on Fridays – at 7am Pacific Time (California).

      Thank you for another lovely & informative video; especially enjoyed "Puppy" at the Guggenheim. We had a ceramic Koons "puppy" living in a Paris apartment when we stayed there in 2022.

      Two ports I haven't been to myself. Was that spiderman hanging on a column at the 2:50 mark? Fascinating to see the Roman lighthouse.
      Thanks for showing the interior of the Bilbao Guggenheim – I've seen lots of photos and video of the exterior, but never the inside. (Also interested to see the Yayoi Kusama exhibit – she has had more work shown here, including some mosaics deep in the new underground Long Island RR train station at Grand Central.)
      I was noticing your background music selections more in this video. Quite nice.

      My wife and I enjoyed watching this episode together. It was well edited. Just enough verbal explanation. Use of bubble footnotes well researched. The music is not overbearing but is gentle and enhances what is being shown. Well done❤😊

      Wow, what an awesome vlog. Love the sail in of both ports.
      I especially enjoyed the tower of Hercules' light house. Beautiful views of the Port and harbour entrance.
      The Bilbao Guggenheim museum is so beautiful. I would have spent all day there. Just admiring the architecture and art works, plus photographing as well.
      Another great vlog and interesting places to visit as well.
